Revise the Tax Code to Protect Children from Sexual Abuse

Dear Supporters,

Please take a moment to review and sign a new petition asking President Obama to "Revise the Tax Code to Protect Children from Sexual Abuse".

https://petitions.whitehouse.gov//petition/tweak-tax-code-protect-children-sexual-abuse

The proposed Senate Bill has several key requirements that will seek to prevent tax exempt high-control groups (e.g. Scientology, Jehovah's Witnesses, etc.) from victimizing their members (especially helpless children), in addition to:

1) Prohibiting group leaders from coercing members
2) Prohibiting group leaders from promoting bigotry, prejudice, and inciting hatred and civil unrest
3) Requiring all tax-exempt organizations file annual returns that disclose how money is spent, including currently exempt religious organizations
4) Requiring that all annual returns are freely available through the internet.

Please get involved by signing the petition and contacting your members of Congress. For the next 30-days please like and/or share the links to the petition ( http://wh.gov/iPVIe ) with family, friends, and social media connections.

Since child sexual abuse is a global problem, we encourage sharing the link with non-USA citizens when they are 13-years or older and have a valid email address. According to the "We the People" FAQ's there are no requirements that an individual must be a USA citizen to sign the petition.

Thank you for your support.

Dance Teacher Runs Child Dance Studio Like A Cult

We understand that sometimes we ask you to put your attention on and share terrible stories of adult and child abuses. As part of our mission we must spread this kind of news in hopes of raising awareness and educating people about these misdeeds. Please remember, you are not giving a "thumbs up like" to the 'dark content' for lack of a better term, you are supporting the spreading and exposure of it in an effort to protect future potential victims from undergoing the same terribly damaging abuses.

For example this story, "Parents of former students at the now defunct RG Dance Studio now admit [dance teacher] Davies ran the studio like a cult". "Grant Davies admitted to 28 child sex offenses, including one female student he raped seven times."

There are so many dance studios out there and it is probable that other dance teachers are taking advantage of their position to manipulate and exploit their young female students, so please share this information in an effort to prevent young students from falling victim.

Some of the warning flags to learn from this particular story:

"Davis always had to be the center of attention."

"He would "body shame" his young students and punish them if they missed classes for family functions, holidays or school."

"Davis told several of his victims that he loved them."

"Court documents reveal he indecently assaulted one student before text messaging her saying: "Hiii.Yayyy. That felt so special."

"But when one girl refused to reply to his messages, he began to pick on her in class in front of other students, telling her she was not "shining her light" and would not make it as a dancer."

"I didn't want to do the photos and videos but that's the only way I actually thought I would become professional dancer," one victim said in a statement."

HARE KRISHNA ISKCON EXPOSE CONCLUSION...

At this point we have concluded our expose of the ISKCON organization, especially regarding its operation on the campus of the University of Florida in Gainesville. One family recently has already been destroyed by the on-campus recruitment / indoctrination of their son and we are asking UF how many more will it take before they will take notice and do something about it. We certainly will not stop until Carl Woodham / ISKCON have been completely banned from the UF campus to prevent any more victims and families from such needless pain and suffering.

We hope that the University of Florida will wake up and follow in the footsteps of the University of Arizona, who recently banned three on-campus groups because of “financial coercion, alienation from parents, shunning of those who leave the church or question its leaders” and more.

According to the complaints and evidence we’ve received, the same thing is happening at UF with ISKCON and yet they are still allowed to operate not only on the UF campus but on campuses all over the US and abroad. For whatever reason, they have been given permission to recruit “young westerners wholesale” as Carl Woodham once stated in one of his letters.

We at FACT will make sure at this point that our efforts will be addressed by the leadership of the University of Florida and other affiliated entities (like the Florida Department of Education and the U.S. Secretary of Education for examples), not to mention all relevant lawmakers in an effort to make sure that Carl Woodham / ISKCON will leave the campus of UF permanently.

We believe these religious high-control cultic groups have no right going after impressionable students and should be barred from any such activities to safeguard students from these insidious recruitment and indoctrination practices.

Thank you to everyone for your involvement and sharing of this expose. Please stay tuned for more exposes by FACT on currently active destructive cults operating in the U.S.

FROM THE PARENT OF A YOUNG VICTIM OF THE ISKCON CULT...

[name has been changed to protect the victim’s identity]:

Without telling us, for the group, Craig cashed in his gift trust account and changed his bank accounts. He gave up his car, health insurance, Visa, his family and friends, which has been very hard on us. We are going through a period of numbness and its hard to think with the emotional toll we are going through right now. The group purposely moved him away in fear that someone would try to deprogram him and as of now we have no idea as to his exact whereabouts, we only know he is somewhere in India completely dependent upon the ISKCON organization for survival.
They don’t want Craig to communicate with us in fear that he might wake up. He cannot go on the Internet or talk to former members of the group. Unfortunately the group like all cults needs to keep its members away from the support group, which is family and friends.

The group knows seeded down deep in Craig’s persona there is a loving caring family bond that is strong and good though because of the group, he will not associate with or spend any meaningful time with his family including attending a family wedding as he would be around non-devotees which the group is concerned that he might snap back.

Craig’s family is now the controlling ISKCON organization. He has given up his body, his soul, his mind for Krishna. He is a fanatic. And it’s not his fault.”

In our opinion Carl Woodham’s iSKCON activities on the University of Florida campus (Gainesville) causes only the destruction of families fraught with pain, suffering and loss, both now and for generations to come.

A GURU WHO DISAPPROVES OF HIGHER EDUCATION IS ALLOWED TO RECRUIT STUDENTS ON A COLLEGE CAMPUS.

We just discovered a shocking quote by Carl Woodham, the Secretary of the Board for the University of Florida Campus Multi-Faith Cooperative, where he states, “Although my parents had kindly offered me many good opportunities to establish a professional career, I kept finding "higher education" empty and unsatisfying.” This explains why Mr. Woodham never achieved more than a high-school diploma with his formal education, yet he is allowed to continually connect with and influence students at the University of Florida in Gainesville.

It is no wonder why a student named James [name has been changed to protect the victim’s identity], who happened to be a devotee of guru Carl Woodham, didn’t even bother to show up for his college graduation ceremony, leaving his family (who drove all the way up for the special event) completely broken-hearted by his absence How is it possible that Woodham is allowed to connect with and teach / influence young college students when he is obviously against higher education?

In our opinion the only reason his ISKCON chapter is operating on the campus of UF is to recruit the “young westerners wholesale” (as Carl once stated in a private email to a fellow guru). We believe ultimately there is no true educational benefit to students by keeping ISKCON / Carl Woodham on the campus of the University of Florida. On the contrary, their recruitment efforts on the campus pose a serious threat to the 50 thousand plus attending students and their families.

Carl Woodham
