"This group is Dangerous they prey on the weak of mind to the point of being criminal and should be shut down. The whole thing is a scam just one big sales pitch to make you spend your money or bring in friends and family. To be completely honest it is pretty scary and sick."

"I have attended the PSI seminars 3 day weekend course and my Father, Mother, and Sister have all attended advance PSI courses. This company is a total scam.
They try brainwashing their "students" and get them to bring more people in to come to more seminars as well as sign up for expensive seminars themselves."

"It is appalling to see what this company will do. They have absolutely no morals and no integrity at all.  If you try and speak up and ask questions about their "teaching/preaching" they berate you like a child. Avoid them at all cost and you will have a much happier and healthier life!"

If you feel you have been hurt or wronged by PSI Seminars in any way, please contact our office immediately at: http://ow.ly/Nfgz308jSEz

ARE PEOPLE STUPID OR CRAZY TO GET INTO A CULT?

Cult members come from all walks of life, all age groups, educational levels and personality types. However, one common thread among most cult recruits is heightened stress: Research indicates that a majority of people who end up joining a cult were recruited during a particularly stressful period. This could be the stress associated with adolescence, leaving home for the first time, a bad breakup, losing a job or the death of a loved one. People undergoing significant stress can be more susceptible when a person or group claims to have the answer to all of their problems.

While the public thinks "people are stupid or crazy to get into a cult," cult expert and clinical psychologist Margaret Singer cautioned that almost anyone has periods of high stress or depression in life, during which they are vulnerable to the influence of a cult. "It may not be an attraction (to the group)," she said. "It may just be how good the recruiter is."

THE THREAT PRESENTED BY THE ISLAMIC STATE IS TAKING ON A NEW FORM

The threat presented by the Islamic State is taking on a new form: Child terrorists either directly in contact with or inspired by the militant group.

Even as it suffers setbacks on the battlefield in Iraq and Syria, the Islamic State is cultivating adolescents in the West, who are being asked to stay in their home countries and strike targets with whatever weapons are available, such as knives and crude bombs.

"They've built a structured recruitment process. They're online, scanning for young adults," Koehler said. "They have stages of [cultivation]. They won't even mention violence until later in their contact, until they've built up trust with these younger recruits."

"What is really worrying is that people frequently look the other way. They say it's just a phase of adolescence and surely they will grow out of it. Often parents don't really know what their children are doing in their rooms."

"The amount of Islamic State videos and propaganda aimed at children has really jumped in recent months," said Daniel Koehler, director of the German Institute on Radicalization and Deradicalization Studies. "We haven't seen anything quite like this, not on this scale and of this quality. They know that in the West, you don't expect a 10-year-old to be a terror suspect."

A WARNING TO ALL STUDENTS AND FACULTY AT BOSTON UNIVERSITY

Falun Dafa, more commonly known as Falun Gong, is recruiting on your Boston University (BU) campus. The group, which has been called a “cult” by many cult experts, has weekly meetings attached to the Marsh Chapel at BU.

The Falun Dafa Club announced at the BU website that it wants to teach “exercises,” but the group will also “study spiritual teachings.” http://ow.ly/SpDD308qKpq

The authoritarian leader of Falun Dafa is Li Hongzhi, known to his disciples as “Master Li.” Purportedly imbued with divine authority Li supposedly knows “the top secret of the universe.” He says, “No religion can save people” only the “almighty Fa,” which Li exclusively represents.

Li Hongzhi’s teaches his followers that only he can install an invisible spinning “falun,” which is a mystical “wheel of law” within their abdomens telekinetically. This is the key to salvation, and the basis for incredible health claims, such as a cure for diabetes and the ability to reverse aging.

Falun Dafa practitioners believe that whatever Li Hongzhi says is right is right and whatever he says is wrong is wrong. Master Li’s authority is absolute.

Li has said that “mixed-race people [are] instruments of an alien plot to destroy humanity’s link to heaven.” And that interracial unions are somehow part of “a plot by evil extraterrestrials.”

Li has also claimed that a “black substance” accumulates in the body due to homosexuality, which causes bad health. He labeled the LGBT community “disgusting,” and stated one day the LGBT community will be “eliminated” by “the gods.”

FROM A LETTER WE RECEIVED...

Mr. Stern,

You were kind enough to speak with me almost 2 years ago. I haven't yet been able to regain contact with my daughter, but I keep trying, and I keep learning. I also touch base at your Facebook page from time to time.

I read a book this past weekend that may be helpful to some of the families with whom you come in contact, especially those dealing with one-on-one cultic relationships. The author seems to do a good job providing insight into how the manipulator confuses his or her victim.

The book is "Lunch with a Sociopath" by Lucie Pawlak. All proceeds benefit Wellspring. The Kindle version is very affordable--$2.99 on Amazon. Perhaps that will help someone, though you may already know this book.

Keep up the good work you are doing, keep me on your mailing list, and thank you for just being you.

Best,
